The APF - Match console includes the classic Pong games Tennis, Hockey, Handball and Training (Practice). The console was sold in Europe in 1977, we have the German version in out collection. The controllers can be detached from the console, the antenna cable is added to the console. The system has an input for an AC adapter, but booklet states that this is an additional that was not originally included. System has 2 controllers attached to 18" wires, so they can be removed from the main base for gameplay, 4 play options-practice, handball, hockey, and tennis, with a slide control switch for novice, average, or expert (ball speed), and a manual/auto serve switch. No shooting games here although the AY-3-8500 has got these games built-in.

Die APF - Match Konsole enthällt die klassischen Pong Spiele: Tennis, Hockey, Handball und Training. Die Konsole wurde in Europa im Jahr 1977 vertrieben, wir haben die deutsche Version in unserer Sammlung.

Die controllers können aus dem Gerät entnommen werden, das Antennenkabel ist fest mit der Konsole verbunden. Eine sehr stilvolles Design mit Holzoptik. Die Maserung scheint bei allen Modellen unterschiedlich zu sein, es handelt sich aber offenbar nicht um Holz sondern eine Nachbildung. Die Konsole wurde auch als Match SD-01c in einem weißen Gehäuse ohne Holzimitat vertrieben.
