The Odyssey 200 is a video game console with 3 variations of Pong and could be played by two or four players, it is the first system to offer this feature. Using a few extra chips designed by Texas Instruments, the Odyssey 200 was still largely an analog system. It was released in North America in 1975, it was sold by Phillips in Europe. The US Magnavox was a doughter firm of Philips.
On July 29, 2009 Mr. Ralph H. Baer, Inventor of the Home Video Console and the Odyssey signed our Odyssey 200 in Berlin.
Six paddles were hardwired into the console (three for each player). The Odyssey 200 also featured a Scoreboard on the front of the system and on-screen scoring using small rectangles that moved to the right as the scores advanced. It ran on batteries (you need to open the console to add the batteries) or a 9 volt adapter plug.
Also some adjustments can be done internal on the mainboard like sound on/off or the screen adjusting.
