Thank you for promoting the museum :-) But what language is this?

Thanks to retroguiden.blogspot.com for the nice words ;-)

iPong on multiple iPod Touch devices - WiFi...

February 25, 2009

How about playing a game of pong with 3+ people on your IPod touch or IPhone? Ubiquitous Entertainment Inc has the iPong Wi-Fi Multiplayergame that lets the ball travel between different iPods via wireless. Not much else has been said about the game, but judging by the fact that it only took an hour to make, we are sure something like this can/will/already has been made.

See the funny video of the Japanese developers - they produce the Pong sound themself :-) The demo video shows three guys playing the game over Wi-Fi on their iPod-Touches. We try to get  a copy of that game to share it.

Heathkit's GD-1999

February 23, 2009

Heathkit's GD-1999 is a strange Pong system. Although Heathkit was famous for selling high quality products, the GD-1999 was not a real kit. As a matter of fact, this system was a clone of National Semiconductor's "Adversary" system (model 370, released after NS launched the MM-57100 game chip in 1976). The system is same as the Adversary with one exception: the label says "Heathkit GD-1999" instead of "Adversary", and the model passed from 370 to GD-1999.

Pong museum

Thanks to www.willekeurigheid.nl for featuring the museum.
